Train Where Care Happens — FNP & Psychiatric-Mental Health Preceptorships
Siebiti Wellness Center offers structured, supervised preceptorship placements for nursing students in Family-Nurse-Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health tracks. Under the direct guidance of our DNP-prepared clinical team, students gain real-world experience delivering person-centered care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Washington, DC.
Our Program
About the Program
Our preceptorship program is built around the belief that the best clinical education happens in the community — not just in hospital settings. Siebiti Wellness Center provides nursing students with a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians in a community-based HCBS waiver environment.
Students work directly with individuals served under active Individual Support Plans (ISPs), gaining exposure to chronic condition management, behavioral health co-occurring conditions, medication management, and the intersection of nursing practice and disability services.
